The GREEN Program: Peru - Water Resource Management & Sustainable Practices

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
This program was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! The whole process of applying and figuring out all the logistics of the trip was easy and smooth with the instructions the Green Program provided. On the trip, I got to try so many different foods and learn all about the culture of the country. We got to go to Machu Picchu, as well as ride ATV’s, go white water rafting, and take a cooking class to learn how to cook lomo saltado and ceviche! I met some amazing people on this trip as well that I’m grateful to have met!

Reasons For Studying Abroad

To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you.
The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
