Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The hong kong historical and scientific museums were very nice and free on Wednesdays!! many more that were around but didn't have the pleasure to going too. |

* Food: |
The food was the best!!! Dim sum square FTW!!!! Be open to everything and you find really cheap food all around. Just walk around and you'll find something great! |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
Very integrated with all types of cultures since the other interns were from all over the world |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
Very safe. Obviously should be catious just because you are in a big city. But I walked some nights home alone and never felt worried. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
The intern group coordinated a lot of events and things to do, but still gave you a sense of freedom to try and see the city on your own. I also enjoyed my internship a lot and without them it would have been very difficult too obtain one. |

Reasons For Studying Abroad
To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you. |
The Nearly Native or Trail BlazerCraving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.' |
