The Intern Group: Hong Kong Internship Placement Program
I have definitely gained alot of social skills due to my multi cultural work place where I could meet people from across the globe. Furthermore I have gained many practical and organisational skills required at a work place. This experience have given me a lot of self confidence and thought me that initiative and hard work are key to be being successful.

I broke my foot before my internship and had to go there with a cast on. It was very easy for me though to follow up with my treatment in Hong Kong. Both modern as well as traditional chinese medicine facilities are easily available. |
| * Safety: |
Personally I feel very safe in Hong Kong, and I believe the crime rate and danger is extremely low unless you are a local gangster. |
| If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
The InternGroup Hong Kong has provided me with an outstanding program that made in many ways the impossible possible. At the point when I applied to the InternGroup I had already tried myself for over half a year to get an internship in Hong Kong and was unsuccessful despite all the hard work and effort I put in. However once the InternGroup stepped in, everything turned out to be quick and easy. |
Finances
|
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | Maximale 500 USD |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Don't go into the shops you are used from home. Chances are that these goods are being imported at a higher cost. Try local food shops and restaurants as this reduces the cost significantly. |
