Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The resources they provide are excellent and recently when something came up they went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable in my situation. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
All of the team here in London has been fantastic! They have been very quick to respond to any questions that arise and provided with me with options to succeed and comfortable. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Other than extremely squeaky floors the housing has been great! The location of all the housing options is optimal considering were so central everything. |
* Food: |
The food has been good! A lot Salisbury's pasta. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
Since I have family here my Integration was probably easier than some but it was easy to get used too London and I really like all of the different culture. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
I luckily didn't have too utilize these services but knowing how they handled other situations i'm sure it would be excellent. |
* Safety: |
I felt extremely safe but then again I completely acknowledge that as a male worrying about safety is a different thing completely. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
I would choose the same program but in a different location. |
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
London is expensive but that is only compared to my hometown in Wisconsin. |
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | 50$ a week |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Buy food at the grocery store and eat at home as often as possible because eating out will add up quickly. |
