Once in a lifetime Opportunity Past Review
By Raul Navarrete (Dominican University) - abroad from 05/06/2017 to 07/01/2017 with
The Intern Group: Madrid Internship Placement Program
What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Spending the past two months interning abroad, I have realized that intercultural communication and cultural intelligence is extremely vital to becoming successful. There are so many fundamental factors that adhere to adjusting to a foreign workplace and city, but one thing to always remember is that you're always learning something new. Keep stepping out of your comfort zone because eventually your comfort zone will grow to an uncomfortable size. Expand your network, try something new and never lose sight of who you want to become.
