What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned a lot about biology, specifically biology in an environment very different from the ones that I am used to. I also feel I improved significantly in my research skills, planning a project, performing field work, writing papers, etc.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Very little, most was included in the program, weith the exception of weekends off.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Make full use of the resources provided by the program in terms of food, camping gear, etc.
