It was a good change of pace from a normal college setting- I was studying the ecosystem, culture and policy of the places in which I was learning.

Obviously there weren't the same options as in the US but I was always well fed, even as a vegetarian. |

Interacted with local community and staff, enjoyed trips off camp several times per week. |
