sharing a room and bathroom with 3 other men was not ideal but doable |

did take some time getting used to, but now that I'm back in the USA I really miss it |

local culture while different, was extremely inviting |

How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
SFS did everything to help sick students, and health care in Tanzania is quite affordable |

always felt safe, and safety concerns were addressed at the beginning of the program |

practicing Swahili was one of my greatest joys while in Tanzania. ample opportunities to learn the the language |
