I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The classes were very interesting. There was a lot of work and readings every night, but it was balanced out with many hours of field work in the beautiful waters of the Caribbean. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
The instructors were extremely knowledgeable and fun. They were fun and easy to interact with outside of the classroom. The one shower per week issue was a little difficult as well as the dorm living situation. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
|
* Food: |
Food was made daily and was pretty good. Since food shipments arrived twice a month, by the end of each shipping period, meals got a little boring. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
Everyone spent a great deal of time with each other outside of class, going to beaches or bars. We all got very close with the local people and each other. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
Very safe location. Only 1100 people live on the island and there were no incidents. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
