Review Your Program
|
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
I took a lot of interesting classes. I had work, but it was not too much to handle. It is very different. The professors are not as accessible and when handing in a paper it is a lot more formal in that you need to sign off and hand it in to a specific department, which then delivers it to your professor. |
|
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
It was a good orientation. It was only a day however, so I wish that it was longer |
|
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I lived in an old hostel that was converted into a house, kind of like dorms

It was an awesome place and in a very convenient location |

Yes
|
Finances
|
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | over 60 |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | groceries are a lot more expensive here. Try to eat out less as well, it is cheaper to make your own food |
