What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
The trip was absolutely worthwhile. I took a class looking at music of the African Diaspora and it was incredible to put classroom knowledge into action and to experience the oral tradition we always talked about. The trip put me in touch with an entirely different world of beauty and knowledge.
