Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

They were helpful!

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

A single in a dorm within Pembroke College along with other American students and freshers.

It's like any other dorm, but you have a sink in your bedroom! The location of Pembroke College is perfect - right near the center of town - and next to Sainsbury's market.

* Food:

You have very little choice with the College food - either a vegetarian or non-vegetarian meal. And the quality is not what we are used to at Tufts.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I couldn't have enjoyed myself more!

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 50 pounds
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Really depends. We got a generous stipend of 1000 pounds a term, but it goes quickly because a big chunk of it goes to pay for the meal plan.
