About

Athens is one of the oldest and most cosmopolitan cities in the world. And Greece, of course, is renowned for its long history, natural beauty, spectacular seascapes, and welcoming culture. What better place to spend part of your summer studying history?

Two courses will be taught at the Global Seminar in Athens. One will teach you about the major developments in the history of the world during the 18th and 19th centuries and how Greece experienced those changes, and the other course will give you an up-close and personal experience of traditional Greek culture and society how they changed over the long 19th century.
