* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

From what I heard from my friends, ISA was extremely helpful and the healthcare wasn't too much of a pain

* Safety:

I felt very safe. ISA prepared us well in advance what we should look out for.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I wish I could do it all over again. When I went, I was scared and timid for half of my program, and it took me awhile to acclimate. But once I got comfortable, I had the best time.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

I didn't go crazy on souvenirs, so it was fairly easy for me.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? $120
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Find scholarships!!! Don't buy every souvenir that you see! I would invest more in food and experiences like travelling within the country.

Language

How much did the program encourage you to use the language?

0 = No encouragement, 5 = frequent encouragement to use the language

I had two weeks of Italian and that was pretty fun!

How would you rate your language skills at the end of the program? Beginner
What was the highest level language course you had completed prior to departure? AP Spanish
How many hours per day did you use the language?
Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? It wasn't the most important thing to speak the language for 5 weeks. hand signals and basic English get you farther than you think in EU countries
