Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

You will undeniably learn about all the geohazards that Taiwan endures. You travel the entire country and see multiple examples than solidifies concepts.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

People here are very respectful, hospitable and curious about you! They want to learn more about you and you can get a greater understanding about them since the interest is mutal.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Housing varies from 5 star hotels to nice hostels, (nice: nicer than what you would expect.)

* Food:

You definitely have to be a dare-devil to try some of the food. Prepare yoursel f to be ready to buy McDonald's by the end of week 2.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

You are allowed to venture off by yourself a lot. Take advantage -- it's a very safe area.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I had no health related issues.

* Safety:

Probably the safest country I will ever visit/ live in.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Bring snacks to eat on the trip in your suitcase. Buy small things along the way instead of all in the city.
