Join the Summer School at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) and experience an unforgettable academic adventure in one of Europe’s most vibrant cities. Our program, “Selected Topics in Tourism, International Hospitality and Attractions Management” (STTIHAM), is designed to expand your knowledge while immersing you in a rich cultural environment.

Over two exciting weeks, you’ll attend specialized modules taught in English by leading professors and researchers from UAM’s Faculty of Economics and Business Studies. The curriculum covers innovative and trending topics in tourism and hospitality, including:

Sustainable tourism and environmental policies
Emerging technologies in tourism: crypto-assets, metaverse, and smart destination management
Human resource and financial management in Europe’s hospitality sector
AI-driven insights for marketing and customer satisfaction
Cultural heritage and attractions management: from Madrid’s Paseo del Prado to the Golden Triangle of Art

Costs
Only STTIHAM (6 ECTS redits) – 1,599 €
Combined with the Summer School of Economics and Business (up to 12 ECTS credits) – up to 2,199 €
Discounts of 12.5% for Early Bird Registration (until February 20) and Partner Universities. Discounts can be accumulated to 25% if both apply. The Program cost includes:
-Tuition fees for the courses selected;
-Cost of social and cultural events, as well as field trips included in the Program.

Travel, room, and board costs are NOT included. The Office of Study Abroad at UAM will provide help in finding accommodation for interested students. There are some on- and off- campus housing options available on a first-come first-served basis.
