My Spanish got a lot better i learned a lot about the European Union and the history of Madrid, my host family was very nice i traveled around Europe, it was definitely worthwhile

As for resources i wish we knew more about library access and the gym area earlier in the semester maybe a tour of those places also. |

I wish we had more access to other young people maybe classes with actual Spanish natives. |

yes it was easily accessible the tours we had were great i went to the hospital once my host family was nice enough to take me. |

Very very safe. although if walking at night walk with a friend, i had no bad instances. |

I took 2,000 dollars which i was able to travel with i only ate food at home with my host family so it was not that hard for me to have money to travel. food is expensive in Europe. |

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Like i said about do not buy food out unless you absolutely have to if you are living with a host family they provide it all. When travelling look at easyjet and ryanair they have good prices. buy a bus card it is 4 euros, 20 per month to take all buses all trains you can go to Madrid 6 times in a week it is a discount for students. Ask your host families. |
