What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained more understanding of who I want to be as a person when I met new people in a new country. My life was completely altered for the better and I will always be grateful. It was absolutely worthwhile.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Santiago and Antonia made my stay that much better and I already love spain so much! I just know my experience would not have been as great without them. They were so loving and helpful. I love and miss my spanish parents!!

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

If I could live in Madrid I would do that. But the reason I wouldn’t change it if I could do it over again was the people I met. My host family and the friends at made at the universidad de alcalá

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Eat the food your family provides. I would have spent so much more money if I did not eat at home a lot. If there is something wrong with the food provided, have a conversation with them.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Listen when the locals correct you, it may seem harsh but it helps! Also ask any and all questions you have to teachers and host families because they are a lot of help!
