Barcelona has a lot of pick-pocketers, be careful with all your belongings and don't keep anything in you back pockets.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? By the under 25 metro pass (3 months) You can do homestay which may save you money, but since I was vegetarian and Spanish food is mostly meat, I didn't want to take a chance Book flights and other events early - when you see a deal, book it, don't wait for it to get cheaper, because tickets will sell out
