About
USFQ Global Online (GO) is a new, blended learning initiative aimed at making international education accessible to all students and further developing international partnerships. Through this program, students will learn alongside, and share a classroom with individuals from all over the world. The objective is to create an immersive, online classroom experience that allows students to acquire new global knowledge and skills.
Modules
The USFQ GO is carried out in a modular system, allowing students maximum flexibility with respect to other commitments.
Dates: Fall: August to December
Spring: January to May
There are two modules in each semester, Fall 1/Spring1 which consists of weeks 1 to 8 and then Fall 2/Spring 2 which takes place during weeks 9-16.
Credits
USFQ's credit system is the same as the North American/United States system: 15 class contact hours is equal to 1 credit. Each USFQ course is worth 3 credits, international students will receive a transcript with 3-credit courses. Students can take up to 15 credits in one semester. There is no minimum credit hour requirement, meaning that students have the option to take a single course.
Fees
Students participating in this program through an exchange agreement must pay tuition at their home universities. The direct enrollment fee for the GO USFQ modular, online classes is US $900 independent students per class and US$800 USFQ Alumni and participating students from a partner institution.
