My spanish improved greatly during my time in xalapa. My literature teacher gave us such great readings and she was always able to explain to us our text or words we didn't understand. |

Rob was a great leader and helped us with any problems we had and was very knowledgeable about everything in mexico. He even came to check on me at my host family's house when I was sick. |

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Everything is cheap in Mexico except sometimes it is hard to find good clothing for a decent price. Bring the clothes you need because you may not be able to replace them when you get there. |

I practiced with native-speakers on a daily basis, my friends, my host family and my teachers. Most people spoke Spanish with me. |
