I learned a lot but they allowed us lots of free time to experience Spain.

Valladolid is a great city. I felt very safe everywhere I went.

When I was with my host family, I didn't spend any money. I spent a lot on travel.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I spent about 100 a week (on average) for travel.

They were very encouraging but I struggled to find an intercambio partner.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • I like that we only had class in the morning
  • NO FRIDAY CLASS
* What could be improved?
  • Have intercambio partners set up for us right away so we can practice more
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I would have known that I was going to be alone the first weekend. I had no communication with anyone for the first three days.
