I had a very positive experience in my class. My professor was great. Not only did I learn a great deal, but I met many interesting people and had alot of fun. |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I lived in a nice old apartment with a very friendly and helpful family. The neighbor hood was great, it was the center of town with easy access to public transit. |

The food was great and my host family took in to consideration my preferences. |

Like in the U.S. just proceed with caution and awareness. Don't be scared, just be smart about what you do and where you go. |

What was the highest level language course you had completed prior to departure? | 200 level courses in phonetics, writing and conversation |

I practiced with my classmates and with my host family (they didn't speak any English) and in my everyday interactions in public places, i.e. stores and restaurants. Yes I had to use French everyday. There were people who spoke English but I did my best to only speak in French. |
