Personal Information

How much international exposure did you have prior to this program? 1 month - 6 months

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I loved how UCL academics promoted autodidactism. It was quite a jump from having very easy access to professors at Wellesley to now having a bit less access to my lecturers at UCL. However, I adjusted fairly well because I am quite disciplined and I did go to a British international school -- I was fairly acquainted with how they do things.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Wellesley has the best study abroad support system!!!!!

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I loved my housing arrangement. I was in central London and I had WONDERFUL flatmates who helped me when I needed help.

* Food:

It was self-catered, however there many food accommodations for students all over London. Thus it was not difficult to afford food in London.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I felt very well integrated, I made so many friends and I cried when I left.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I did not use any healthcare ammenities.

* Safety:

Central London is a bit unsafe, but it is not too bad. Just be vigilant.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I loved it! There's really nothing else I can say. BEST BEST BEST experience ever.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

London is EXPENSIVE.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? $200
