What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It's impacted my cultural awareness but has not change my academic interest and future plans I also feel my expirance was a lot more personalized that the other international students that were at my school because i got to know my distant German ancestors and dated a native.

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Teching methods were lectors from power points and there was no work load since the only grade was the final at the end.

The host country's international office held my hand through the whole process i was there

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I lucked out and was placed in the newest student residence in the city. I had my own room with a little bath room and kitchen with a stove. The host schools university had kitchen ware and bedding available for us to rent. Area was very safe.

* Food:

There is a cafeteria at the school for lunch but mostly i would go into the main section of the city for food or the grocery store.

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Safety:

the school set me up with german health insurance, which i used, and it worked just fine, no issues.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

The people I interacted with the most spoke English as second language and i didn't learn to much of the native language

A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Nurnberg is perfect and the school there is much more assistant than any other colleges the students were at.
