Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The course selection systems are the most different. Most systems are not computerized like they are in the U.S. There is basically more thinks that you have to do face to face with professors and advisors and there is a lot of running around campus to get papers signed and such things of that nature. The workload is the same, lectures are basically the same. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
Lots of miscommunications took place in Germany. Some programs are not as organized as others. Especially exchange programs as a lot of what you do is up to you since you are basically moving to another school to take courses. Not like a structured summer semester program with scheduled events and such. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Housing was organized by the university. |
* Food: |
Great food |
* Social & Cultural Integration:

* Health Care:

* Safety: |
It was fairly safe. The security was appropriate. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
No
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
