How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I loved the location of the student accommodation I was in, the Rackhay, however there were a lot of repairs that needed to be fixed and the office was slow to do so. I would highly recommend this accommodation

Bristol is like a mini Austin, cool friendly people

Like any city there are areas to avoid but overall I felt extremely safe in Bristol

Bristol is a very student friendly city and this is reflected in its prices

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Buy bedding once there, our recommended online provider from the university sent bedding that did not fit any study abroad students bed, plus its would have been cheaper to just have bought it from primark. Poundland is a great place to by dishes/cleaning/food on a budget

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Not to be worried, we hear how much the rest of the world hates Americans but this city embraced me and my study abroad peers from all over the world. This city is diverse and accepting of people from all backgrounds
