Introduce yourself to the cultural and political identity of the Low Countries—the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, three contrasting monarchies in the heart of Europe. This program will trace important cultural, historical, and political developments in European history and culture.

- Begin in Amsterdam, the world's most liberal city, with two weeks of exploration in the Netherlands
- Travel to Brussels, Europe's capital, and join the celebrations of Independence Day in Belgium before continuing on to Luxembourg, one of the smallest but most international countries in Europe
- Visit Flanders, Belgium's Dutch-speaking region, beginning with a stay in Ostend on the North Sea coast and ending in Louvain, one of Europe's oldest university towns founded in the Middle Ages
