Business Internships in New Zealand provide participants the opportunity to gain valuable personal and professional experience while interning with a wide variety of organizations and businesses. An international internship is a great way to gain desirable and marketable skills such as communication, problem solving, adaptability, organizational planning and others. It is also a fantastic opportunity to get to know another culture while learning about professional life in an international context. This program allows students to combine professional experience with academic coursework in a way that helps them meet academic, social, cultural and professional goals. Placements in New Zealand are typically with smaller organizations where students will have the opportunity to gain exposure to all parts of the organization. Students are matched with a host company based on their specific skills, experience and goals for the internship. Students can expect to spend about 32 hours per week at their internship and to dedicate another 8 hours per week to the online course.  Previous participants have interned in a diverse array organizations in the fields of Non-profit Management, Accounting, Banking, Business, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Event management, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Sales, etc. Students are encouraged to be open-minded and approach the program with a willingness to learn and grow, both professionally and personally.
