Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

There was much more reading and writing than I expected.

On-site administration of your program

Everyone was extremely helpful and available at any given moment! The administration quickly got things done, and was extremely knowledgable.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The Residence in Trastevere was a bit far from school, but otherwise had the perfect central location! Tram and bus stops were literally right outside and connected to anything one would need! Trastevere was a safe neighborhood and had much to do/see!

The food was delicious, cheap, and fresh!

Individual Course Reviews

Course Name/Rating:

The Age of Baroque

Course Department: Art History
Instructor: Paolo Alei
Instruction Language: English
Comments: This was by far the best class I took abroad, as well as the best class I have taken throughout my educational career. Paolo is brilliant, engaging, and challenges his students. I learned the most in this class and gained a whole new understanding and appreciation for Rome. If it were not for Paolo I would have not seen half of the things I did in Rome. He takes his classes from one part of the city to the next, exploring every crack and crevice along the way. His class is very fast paced and requires much studying and memorization, but WELL worth it.
