What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was worthwhile and I learned a lot about myself through travel (being with other people, what things make me excited, how I like to interact with people).

Review Your Program

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The resources were good and the workload was not very heavy.

On-site administration of your program

Very efficient and helpful

The housing was awesome. Lived in a house with two flatmates with a stream in my backyard.

* Food:

New Zealand food isn't super interesting but there are a lot of options.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Hard to meet kiwis

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

The hospital in christchurch was good and the dentist I went to was as well. Certain accidents are covered by the government so you don't have to pay.

* Safety:

Safe

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Lots of traveling around is necessary which is expensive. The food isn't too bad maybe 120 NZD ~$75 a week.
