I am so glad that I studied abroad in Cape Town. It was an extremely worthwhile experience that left me with new perspectives and outlooks on the world.

Overall, I really enjoyed my classes at UCT. I learned a lot about my host country and all of my classes really helped to offer me newfound senses of perspective. |

IDACA is absolutely amazing! I can't imagine my experience in Cape Town without having had Isabella and Shannon to help me through. They are miracle workers. |

We had a lovely apartment that was secure and close by the University. Great place to live. |

While you always have to remain vigilant, as in all major cities, I always felt safe while in Cape Town. I felt that my living space was secure and I knew that I could always call Isabella or Shannon if there were any concerns/problems. |

| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | It might have been nice to have a better understanding of what travel outside of Cape Town looked like before arriving. However, we quickly learned through planning weekend trips and our school vac. |

The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
