University of Colorado Boulder: China - Discovering Urban China, Hosted by the Asia Institute

This program enabled students to explore cultural identity and strengthen intercultural competence while visiting four of China's most famous and historic cities: Beijing, Xi'an, Shanghai and Hangzhou. During the program, students gained firsthand knowledge on the ways modernity has affected urban China, interacted with Chinese peers both in and outside the classroom and experienced the thinking and perspectives of China's next generation.
