What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
SO much international business experience and knowledge. I know have friends on the other side of the world. I learned so much about such a foreign culture. I absolutely loved every minute of it.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

good hotels, clean and good location.

* Food:

experienced a lot of variety. Asia Institute showed us a lot of great cuisine.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Only knew our guides as locals. Got to integrate more on our free time.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

As soon as i felt ill, the staff was there to help. They took me to a pharmacy and were always checkin in with me to make sure I was ok.

* Safety:

Don't be stupid and you'll be fine.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Would love to be back with Wanny, Mandy, Claire, and Daisy. And all my fellow CU students.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

China is very affordable. But when you are there for such a short amount of time, you tend to spend more money trying to do everything in the time you have.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? It's so hot wearing business clothes in Beijing and Shanghai. You are going to love it and want to extend your trip, so plan for that before you leave.
