The majority of times we were not academically challenged, rather we had the opportunity to learn and explore at our own pace.

The YMCA of Salsbury was more than adequate for any housing/living needs.

Stay open-minded.

We were obviously outsiders, but the Asia institute staff showed us the best of the culture through guided programs.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

No issues -- but staff was ready to help.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

There were no flaws in my opinion -- i learned a lot about the culture, businesses maintaining international relations, and myself.

The Networker
An active student leader, it was important for you to network abroad as well. Once overseas, you sought out student clubs, volunteered with local organizations, or attended community events. You encouraged your friends join you, and often considered how you could reflect your international experiences in a resume.
