It was worthwhile. I got to travel a lot during breaks and each course I took provided great education to my geography background.

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
|
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
They had an orientation for international students on arrival but no real guidance further than that. We didn't get any tips or notes on what to do, but I managed to do fine. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I was placed with first year students and they were very immature and did not appreciate others. It was located near the central of campus which was nice. |
* Food: |
I had my own kitchen so I could prepare and cook all types of foods. My flatmates would eat my food sometimes so I need to work around that. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
England and the US are similar but different. Their lifestyles are different because they party a lot more than I did back in the states. But everyone was nice and understanding, to a degree. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
The University had many safety precautions and management that helped everyone feel safe on campus. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |

Comments: | It was an introduction course about GIS. Since minoring in geography, it was very important skill to know. There were many instructors and it was not very personal. They were all knowledgeable but didn't like to get to know the students. |

Comments: | The teacher wasn't very knowledgeable about the topics. A few other instructors taught the course. It was interesting to learn the low carbon technologies but I feel like the course was taught in a strange way. |

Comments: | Many different instructors taught different subjects. We had one main test at the end that covered each lecture and then one group project and presentation. It was well organized and each lecturer was very knowledgeable about each of their own topic. |
