What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?

Yes, I gained valuable experience living independently and adjusting to a new school and new country. I met a lot of great people and learned things in courses that I wouldn’t have been able to take at my home university. It was also an incredible opportunity to travel around Europe.

* Overall educational experience Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.	I enjoyed my courses, but they did not feel as rigorous as Middlebury. Still, that provided a nice break and gave me time to explore Norwich and meet new people.

* Health Care: How well were health issues addressed during the program?	I needed a birth control refill while I was abroad, and although it was not free the process to get it was easy and I was able to just order online and pick it up at a local pharmacy.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program?	Yes

Instructor:	Richard Farmer and Melanie Williams

Comments:	The course required minimal reading and homework. Your grade is entirely based on the final essay. We watched one film each week and they were enjoyable and relevant to the topic covered during that week. Two classes per week - one lecture class with informational powerpoints and one small seminar section where we discussed the film. Prof. Farmer was funny and engaging during his lectures and his powerpoints were well-structured. Although Prof. Williams was kind and knowledgable, students rarely showed up to the seminar discussions, often leaving only 2 or 3 of us to discuss the film which was not particularly helpful.
