What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Absolutely, I wanted to stay for the year. I made many friends and saw places I would not have been able to see. I also really learned to budget and balance my money.

The professors and my advisor made me feel welcomed and comfortable. There were no trips since we did not have a Faculty Leader from our home institution.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? We had to buy our textbooks, pay for the gym, clubs, athletic insurence, orientation to the equipment in the gym, and transportation.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Make sure you bring a cook book becasue you will not have a meal plan. Find lots of warm bedding becasue its really cold. Don't be afraid to ask for help, people are generall pretty happy to lend a hand. Get a work visa so you do not have to worry about money.
