I was able to take classes not offered at my school and still get credits. More focus on large exams, less homework. Able to have class only 3 days a week, 4 day weekends! |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Dorms provided by school, not super nice. They tend to give international students the worst dorms because they don't take care of them. Will have flat-mates. Livable, needs some decorations from IKEA, etc. |

Cheap meals at campus canteen, ability to find 'American' food downtown, cheap czech and italian food by dorms. |

How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I was able to travel almost every single weekend to a different country. Our school's buddy system planned many trips and activities, and there were always other exchange students willing to travel with you. |

How well were health issues addressed during the program? |

Get you vaccines before you go. There are English speaking doctors in Prague, mainly downtown - I had to go, fairly helpful, some only accept cash though. I felt pretty safe, just watch your bags for pick pocketers and stay attentive. |

| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | It depends if I was in Prague or travelling. In prague I would spend about 40-60 dollars a week on food and beverages (including alcohol). As long as you are not downtown, food is pretty cheap and because of that fact we ate out often, you can get by cheaper if you eat at school canteen or cook in dorm. |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Bring money to travel. flights are cheap once you get to europe! |

| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Do it. Don't let the language stop you. Only about two people on my exchange of a few hundred students knew the language and we all got along just fine. Don't be afrsid to try something new and different. |
