I think studying abroad was one of the best things I have ever done. I can not stress enough how much I loved the experience.

I found the studio space enjoyable, I was welcomed by my course mates easily and enjoyed the workshops and projects I partook in. |

The ECA is divide into departments so the Animation advisers worked with me. They were helpful and easy to talk to. I learned a great deal from them and found it easy to approach them if need be. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I lived in a 4 room flat on the outer edge of the city with three locals who attend the University. I found it was a good fit for me and enjoyed that there was a great view of Arthur's Seat out my window. |
* Food: |
Scottish food is amazing! I have fallen in love with Bangers and Mash. The supermarkets are very affordable and I found that I could live on about 10 pounds a week. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I made many amazing friends from all over and went to many fun events such as the Beltane Festival. I also traveled around Europe and saw amazing sights. |

How well were health issues addressed during the program? |

I did get sick in the winter, but was taken care of quickly and efficiently. Edinburgh is a safe city and I have felt very comfortable throughout my stay. |

A Look Back
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | ECA is an amazing College, and Edinburgh just as wonderful. Do take time to enjoy the city and all it has to offer, as well as the rest of Scotland. The college has many ways to get involved in its community and provides fun and interesting course workshops that you should take advantage of. |
