The Academic or LinguistYou went abroad with specific academic goals in mind; the program credentials and rigor of your coursework abroad were very important to you. You had a great time abroad, but never lost sight of your studies and (if applicable) were diligent with your foreign language study. Good for you! |
Individual Course Reviews
Course Name/Rating: |
Philosophy of Mind, Matter, and Language |
Course Department: | Philosophy |
Instructor: | Anders Schoubye |
Instruction Language: | English |
Comments: | The content of the class was standard and for that I was glad. However, my TAs were ill prepared for the discussions, the students rarely talked in said discussions or read the texts, and the professor rotated every week or so, so it was hard to get into a groove. All in all, though, I learned what I needed to, so that is good. I wouldn't recommend this class for non phil majors -- it's not too hard, it just isn't super great either. |
