What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?

I learned more about living as an independent person, especially living in a small city; there was an emphasis on exploration and discovery that I often had to do while on my own. While there were ups and downs, the experience was definitely worth while.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants?	First, if you're there for a semester, get housing that includes food cause it'll be cheaper than accommodation at Midd. Food isn't great, though, but it's better than nothing.

The Outright Urbanite A social butterfly, you're happiest in bustling cities with hip people, and took advantage of all it had to offer. You enjoyed the nightlife, and had fun going out dancing, and socializing with friends. Fun-loving and dressed to the nines, you enjoyed discovering new restaurants, shops, cafes, and bars in your host country.

Course Name/Rating:	Introduction to Gaelic Language and Culture

Comments:	This is not an easy course. It's poorly organized, and you have to do a tone of independent work because you only spend three days a week learning the language. There are very high expectations.
Credit Transfer Issues:	No issues didn't need it for credit

Comments:	A fantastic class for philosophy majors. Read Neitzche, Kikirgard, and Hediger, all of whom you don't get exposed too at Midd. just two papers. Mostly lecture but also some smaller discussions, but those were poorly attended.
Credit Transfer Issues:	I doubt there will be issues

Comments:	First-year level course with not a ton of work. It is a nice oprotunity to get a hisotry requirement for Midd while also exploring the history of Scottland and the Medieval period as a whole.
