What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned that the friends you make while undergoing your study abroad experience are your friends for life, always make sure you have some amount of emergency money on you in that country's currency, and that isolation is not a bad thing and can lead to personal reflection.

i would much rather have studied with a more diverse group of students from all over the world instead of just American students.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Budget!!! Plan out all your trips whether in England or across Europe and discipline yourself and do not spend more than you have already planned.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • The history of the England can be seen in everyday items, stores and landscapes.
  • The history of the manor where we worked and lived was a direct representation of the reason that all the students are studying abroad in the first place.
* What could be improved?
  • The food served to the students from the providing service could be improved.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew how expensive the entire excursion was going to be before I left home so that I had a sure plan of how much money I was going to spend, what countries I wanted to visit and the lodging, transportation and food expenses that would be involved.
