About
This ABA-accredited program provides up to six law school credits while offering to participants the beauty, history and culture of France.
Our first week begins in Paris. From there we travel down to Montpellier, an enchanting city in the heart of southern France and home to our partner, the Faculty of Law at University of Montpellier. Four weeks will be spent in Montpellier. The course schedule is designed so that students will be able to take full advantage of travel opportunities.
Three classes of 2-credits each are offered. One, taught by a French professor, explores the impact of the European Union on business formation and legal issues. The other two, taught by UF professors, deal generally with business or economic-related subjects. All classes are in English and all classes include French students from University of Montpellier.
The program includes meetings with French jurists and excursions to vineyards and other businesses to view first hand their business formats and discuss legal issues with business professionals.
