Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
It was totally a good experience. It was a little difficult at the begging get used to the classes system as well as the grading system but it is easy to get used to it. The biggest problem I had was setting up my schedule for my classes because most of the classes clashed so I need to chose different classes again and again. People at the University of Hertfordshire is really friendly and always available to help students. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
The classes at the University of Hertfordshire were fun and interesting. Teachers often offered extra help if needed. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I lived in the campus dorms, they were really safe and five minutes away from where I took my classes. The university has its own night club and bars as well as shuttles that takes students from the nigh club and bars to the dorms. Shuttle services makes everything easy and safer. I need to buy extra cookware because the school does not provide any. |

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | I spent about $200 Dollars per week in food, transportation, and personal expenses. I traveled almost every weekend to a different place so add $150 more dollars to it. In order to get good deals in flights must be booked months in advance. |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Be aware that you need to pay for your dorm room as soon as you get there and it needs to be paid in full. |
