Hong Kong. No shoestrings. Past Review
By Thomas C (Finance and Financial Management Services., University of Hawaii - Manoa) for
University of Hong Kong / HKU: Direct Enrollment & Exchange
As stated previously, being able to have an extremely flexible schedule in academia allowed for weekend and week long trips to some of the most remote locations of my understanding of the world. I would try to study abroad again in a heartbeat.

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
Overall I feel as though students are left to their own devices at this institution. Many students fail to attend classes, and when they do, tend to ignore and often talk over the professors. One class I attended, students came in an hour into a lecture, opened up their laptop computers and began to play video games. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
Hong Kong was the most amazing city with an incredible diversity of people, cultures, languages, foods, sports, and opportunities. Many of what I found beneficial on my abroad semester was due to the variety of exchanges that I was able to carry out with the population of Hong Kong. |
