Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
the grading system is not as clear as IC's. u never know what u will get until the last minute. some professors are kind of harsh graders, but very nice and helpful. The class size is usually quite big. almost every class has its own tutorials which I think is wonderful. All the students are quite active and energetic.We discussed a lot. It's great to share ideas with them. u always learn something. Courses about politics, philosophy, sociology and etc usually have a heavy workload, really need to read a lot of stuff, challenging but interesting. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
the officials from HKU are quite slow at responding emails. not very helpful. when u have a problem, sometimes it's just like a disaster to get it solved. this is the only thing I will complain about. except for this, all the other things are just perfect. i think students will enjoy the overall experience in HKU. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I didn't live in dorms, but I have heard a lot about it. Quite interesting life there. It's also good to live where I lived: Pokfield Road Residences. very convenient. walkable distance to everywhere. |
* Food: |
enjoy Chinese food? If u do, u will have perfect food. |
