University of Hull: The place I discovered myself Past Review

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
This expereince was worth every minute! I learned alot, I think the most important things I learned were being patient, and not worrying so much. With both of those I finally stopped getting stressed out about things not going according to plan. I finally got the mentality that everything works out in the end. I gave the overall satisfaction five globes because there really was nothing about the program I didn't like. Everyone was very helpful and caring. I felt at home and safe in a completely different country than my own. I find that very rewarding. This experience abroad gave me what I call the travel bug. I want to go back and visit all of my friends I have made around the world. I want to help other students work toward this amazing expereience. I think everyone should go abroad atleast once! This program has kind of altered my plans in school, I would like to maybe teach art in a different county.

A Look Back
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | Don't freak out when somthing is not going acording to plan, everything ends up working out, being patient is the key. I honestly think any study who wants to travel, meet interesting people, and be in a totally different learning environment would benifit. I think the person has to be open and free, and willingly and knowingly that the experience will change them! |
