UK=more international than I expected Past Review
By Jennifer S (Business Administration, Management and Operations., Western Washington University) for
University of Hull: Hull - Direct Enrollment & Exchange
Absolutely worthwhile. I have done and tried things that I never thought possible. The location of the UK to other countries was very convenient and allowed me to backpack for a month over spring break. Never had been away from family and friends for so long, definitely challenges you in ways you never expected and makes you a stronger person for it.

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
Grading system is very different from home. Mostly independent learning-they expect you to research material on your own-fewer days in class. Classes were harder than I was hoping for as it is my last semester of college. Are extremely tough on plagiarism-you must submit an online copy of all work. Teaching quality was better at Western, but there was a nice international experience at Hull. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
Were very helpful in the beginning with figuring out classes and answering questions. They also do an airport pickup which is very helpful. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |

* Food: |
Food around Hull is not known for being good. Very Greasy! Lots of grocery stores down the street and lots of healthy options. |

Yes
|
