The content of the academic programme draws on the world-class expertise of the business school in preparing future money and banking professionals to build successful careers in the multicultural and complex global business environment. The module examines how financial markets and institutions work and explores the role of money in the economy. An emphasis is placed on the operation of the commercial banking sector and the role central banks play in the operation of monetary policy.
